Hey all. made it to the pepsi state finals!

Hey all. Bowled in the first ybta tournament of the new season.

the format is 4 games, total pinfall determines the winner. I don't really like the format much, but its a tournament nonetheless so i have to bowl in it :P

The shot (in my opinion) was pretty tough. i bowled really consistent though and ended up finishing in 5th place with games of 202, 200, 196 and 225.

My leauge just ended and got 1st place (yay) but now i won't have anything to do saturday mornings :(

I guess thats about it. i did have a 267 on the last day of leauge, but the series isnt worth mentioning lol.

Well, it's been a long and busy week, that's for sure. still managed to practice tuesday and today in preperation for tomorrows league.

It's been nearly a week since i went to the pepsi tournament so I figure I'll update you all on how I did.

573 for my 3 game series. they were old wooden lanes and not hooking much. I pride myself in finding a decent line by the time practice was over though. It wasnt an easy shot, but it wasnt insanely tough either. It just called for you to be accurete, of which i struggled a bit. It been a while since i bowled a tournery so i just have to get the same mentality for tournerys as i have for practice and leauge; stay loose and stay focused!

So I got home and then found an old sheet for a city tournament. as fate would have it, the tournery was the next day, and at the same bowling lanes i had just bowled pepsi at!

so went there and shot a...572. pretty much the same story as pepsi for that day. It didn't bug me as much the second tournament but i was pretty mad about pepsi. i honestly don't think its enough to qualify for the next part. I got about 20 pins handicap each game so at least that is in my favor. but I dunno, it's going to be close. *crosses fingers*

Wow.

nearly had me first 300 today. man the ball was coming into the pocket nice. front 8 strikes, then got nervous and pulled the ball and got an 8 count :( struck out for 11 strikes in one game. one stupid shot cost me that 300! *hits head on wall several times*

Oh well, twas still awesome to even bowl that. i know that 300 is coming soon....
